The Flame That Burned Twice (Poem)

We met in stars, we burned in dust,

A bond of fire, a fatal trust.

One kiss, too bright—time split in two,

And every life, I searched for you.

As friend or foe, as love or ghost,

I lost you where I found you most.

Yet still we spark in every life—

A cursed romance, a sacred knife.

For hearts like ours don’t fade or fold—

We burn too bright, we die too bold.

But if we meet beyond this night,

Let’s try once more…

without the fight.
